Your First 24 Hours - Let's Do This Together! 🚀

Okay, deep breath! I know starting something new can feel like a lot, but I've got you. Think of me as your friendly guide who's helped hundreds of creators get set up. By tomorrow at this time, you'll have everything ready to start making money from your expertise.

Here's the thing - you don't need to do everything perfectly. Just follow along, and we'll have you up and running in no time. Ready? Let's go!

First Things First (30 minutes)

Let's knock out the basics. This stuff isn't exciting, but it's like brushing your teeth - gotta do it!

Tell Us About Yourself

When you first log in, we'll ask you a few questions. Nothing complicated:

  • What kind of creator are you? (Coach? Teacher? Consultant? Just pick what feels right)
  • What do you want to achieve? (More sales? Build a community? Automate your business?)
  • What's been holding you back? (Tech stuff? Time? Marketing? We've all been there)
  • Where are you at revenue-wise? (No judgment - we're here to help you grow)

Your Business Basics

Now for the simple stuff:

  • Your brand name (you can always change this later)
  • Where you're located (for payment and tax stuff)
  • Your preferred currency (we support pretty much everything)
  • Your timezone (so your scheduled content goes out at the right time)

Make It Look Good (1 hour)

Time to add some personality! Head to WORKSPACE → Settings → Profile.

Here's what to add:

  • Your profile pic: A friendly photo of you works best. Smile! (400x400 pixels is perfect)
  • Your bio: Tell people what you're about. What problems do you solve? Why should they care? Keep it conversational, like you're talking to a friend.
  • Social links: Connect your Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn - wherever your people hang out

Pro tip: Don't overthink your bio. You can always update it later. Just write something genuine about how you help people.

Lock It Down (20 minutes)

Security stuff - not fun, but important. Like locking your front door.

  • Turn on two-factor authentication: Download Google Authenticator or Authy on your phone. It takes 2 minutes and keeps the bad guys out.
  • Verify your email: Check your inbox, click the link. Done!
  • Set your notifications: Do you want an email every time someone buys? Or just a daily summary? You choose.

Explore Your New Office (30 minutes)

Time for the fun part - checking out your creator dashboard! It's like getting the keys to your new office.

Quick Dashboard Tour

Right now you're in Launchpad Mode - it's like training wheels for your business. You'll see a checklist of 5 things to do. Once you make your first sale (exciting!), it switches to Growth Mode with all your revenue stats and fancy charts.

Take a few minutes to click around:

  • CREATE section: Where you'll build courses and landing pages
  • MONETIZE section: Where the money magic happens
  • GROW section: Your marketing command center
  • WORKSPACE: All the behind-the-scenes settings

The Money Part - Connect Stripe (1-2 hours)

⚡ This Is Important!

No Stripe = No money. It's that simple. But don't worry, it's easier than doing your taxes (way easier).

Go to WORKSPACE → Settings → Payments and click that big "Connect with Stripe" button.

Stripe will ask for:

  • Are you a business or individual? (Both are fine!)
  • Your legal name and address
  • Your bank account info (where you want your money to go)
  • Tax ID or Social Security Number (they have to ask, it's the law)
  • A photo of your ID (for verification)

The whole thing takes about 10-15 minutes. Stripe might take a day or two to verify everything, but you can keep setting up other stuff while you wait.

Analytics Stuff (Optional, but smart)

Want to know how your landing pages are performing? Who's visiting? What's converting? Set up some tracking!

If you have these tools, add them in WORKSPACE → Settings → Profile:

  • Google Analytics or Tag Manager
  • Facebook Pixel (for retargeting)
  • Any other tracking tools you use

Don't have these? Skip it for now. You can always add them later when you're ready to get fancy with your marketing.

Create Something to Sell (2-3 hours)

This is where it gets exciting! Time to create your first product. Don't aim for perfection - aim for "good enough to help someone."

Go to CREATE → Courses and let's make something simple:

  • Click "Create Course"
  • Give it a name (you can change this later)
  • Write a quick description of what people will learn
  • Create one module (think of it as a chapter)
  • Add 3-5 lessons (even short ones are fine!)
  • Upload a video, write some text, or add a PDF - whatever you have ready
  • Hit "Publish" (you can always add more later)

🎉 You Did It!

You just created your first product! Even if it's small, it's a start. You can always expand it later. The hardest part is starting, and you just did that!

Make It Available for Sale (30 minutes)

Product created? Awesome! Now let's put a price tag on it.

Head to MONETIZE → Offers:

  • Click "Create Offer"
  • Name your offer (like "Get Started with [Your Topic]")
  • Add the course you just created
  • Set your price (start with something you're comfortable with - you can always increase it later)
  • Choose one-time payment or subscription (one-time is simpler to start)
  • Grab your sales link
  • Do a test purchase with a test card (4242 4242 4242 4242) to make sure it works

Pricing tip: Don't know what to charge? Start lower than you think, get some sales and testimonials, then raise your price. It's easier to go up than down!

Common "Oh No!" Moments (And How to Fix Them)

"Stripe is taking forever to verify me!"

Totally normal! It usually takes 24-48 hours. Sometimes they need extra documents. Check your email - they're pretty good about telling you what they need. Meanwhile, keep building your content!

"My profile picture won't upload!"

Usually it's too big. Keep it under 5MB and make sure it's a JPG or PNG. If you're on your phone, try using your computer instead.

"I'm overwhelmed and don't know what to create!"

Start super simple. What's one thing you could teach someone in 30 minutes? That's your first mini-course. You don't need 50 hours of content on day one. Even 3-5 short lessons can provide value!

"The dashboard looks different than expected"

Try refreshing your browser (Ctrl+F5 on PC, Cmd+Shift+R on Mac). If that doesn't work, try a different browser. Sometimes browser extensions can interfere too.

You Made It! What Happens Next?

First, give yourself a pat on the back. Seriously! You just set up your entire creator business infrastructure in one day. That's huge!

Tomorrow through Day 7:

Polish your course, maybe add more lessons. Create a simple landing page (the AI can help!). Start telling people about what you're building.

Week 2:

Share your offer with your audience. Get feedback. Make tweaks. Celebrate your first sale (it's coming!).

Week 3-4:

Now you're rolling! Add email automation, maybe create another product, host your first live event. The sky's the limit!

Ready for the Next Step?

Great job getting this far! Let's keep the momentum going.
