When someone purchases your course or offer, the first 72 hours are critical. With Selgora's Marketing Flows, you can create automated sequences that welcome, guide, and engage new members from day one. Let's build your onboarding automation!

Understanding Marketing Flows in Selgora

Marketing Flows are Selgora's powerful automation system that lets you:

  • Send automated emails based on triggers

  2. Click "Create New Flow"
  3. Choose "Onboarding Sequence" template or start blank
  4. Name your flow (e.g., "New Member Welcome Series")

Choose what starts the automation:

  • Offer Purchased: Triggers when specific offer is bought
  • Tag Added: Triggers when member gets tagged
  • List Joined: Triggers when added to a list

For member onboarding, select "Offer Purchased" and choose your course or offer.

  2. Choose condition type:
    • Email opened/not opened
    • Link clicked/not clicked
    • Has specific tag
    • Course progress status

Best Practices for Onboarding Flows

  • Start simple: 5-7 emails over 2 weeks
  • Front-load value: Best content in first 3 days
  • One CTA per email: Don't overwhelm
  • Personalize: Use merge tags for name, course name
  • Track everything: Use UTM parameters on links
  • Iterate: Improve based on analytics
